Extended Stay America Select Suites- Akron - South

I've been here longer than anticipated, but it's been a great place to be. The negative reviews I've seen are grossly exaggerated. It is a well maintained hotel with incredibly friendly staff. Someone's always around if you need anything. If they're not at the front desk every second, all I've had to do is call and they come immediately down, even in the middle of the Night.. and always with a smile on their face. Christian, Jessica, Chris, Tammy, and the other staff whose names I dont know... I appreciate you ALL. Thanks!!

The front desk staff especially Andy have been such a great support during my time here. I’ve been here for a month so far…. Anything I needed the front desk staff was on it. I’m so grateful for them. I’d also like to make a shout out to the woman who cleans the rooms. I’ve caught her in the hallways and she’s always so pleasant.

Clean and cost effective room, mostly quiet accept for a few dogs up the hall way. The washer n dryer take ccrds so no change needed. Excellent service over all and cheapest by far. However the hotel 99% of the time reeks of weed smell. I know you arent supposed to smoke inside but when you can smell it thru the hallway (1st) floor..and even outside the building at any given time..something should be done.

My stay has been amazing the entire time! The staff is wonderful & extremely helpful with all my needs. The guest are friendly and I love the fact that they allow guest to bring their fur babies as I’ve seen a few pups! I’d highly recommend them to anyone who is in need of a short or long term stay!

I've been here for a while and can say I've never seen any bugs. My room was clean and the pillows fluffed. The heat is warm but not as warm as the greeting from the wonderful G.M.(Christian) anything I needed was provided and any questions answered. I will def stay again as long as Christian is there.

I've been here for 5 months now and it definitely feels like home Christian and Jessica are always great and just super friendly people. Really, all the staff here are great, and everyone is helpful. I have zero complaints. The room feels safe and homey. Exactly what I need for this moment in my life. And it has everything you need.. A great kitchenette with Full size refrigerator/freezer, plenty of cabinets, microwave, stove top, and a great size bathroom with a big tub. The location is perfect too.. All the shopping you need right around the corner.

Great place to stay specially for work trips or staying with family. Clean and quiet. Good location as well. Christian the manager is one of the best hotel managers I've ever encountered honestly.

Super clean hotel. Great little rooms. CraZzZzZyyy affordable and the staff is out of this world. The housekeeping and front desk staff go above and beyond; they are helpful and friendly. The general manager, Christian , was phenomenal. From the moment we entered the building he made us feel welcomed and comfortable. He was funny and personable while remaining professional and knowledgeable. The entire facility is locked at all times and there are cameras all over building inside and out. The staff is properly trained and aware of the importance of privacy ensuring that not only is this hotel a comfortable home away from home but also safe. I will absolutely return here anytime I need a hotel in this area and this will be the only place I recommend to friends, family, and quite frankly, any stranger I encounter that will listen to me from here on out!
